How this tool works
Count the selected chargeable dates between the first chargeable date and collection date, include collection day only when selected, then subtract confirmed excluded days. Apply your entered tier if present. Fixed charges are added once. Any earlier-collection comparison uses entered fewer chargeable days and extra quoted transport cost; it does not book that option.
An example using hypothetical inputs
Hypothetical: five chargeable days at $20/day plus $0 fixed fees totals $100. Avoiding two of those days saves $40; an extra $60 transport cost would exceed that saving by $20. These are illustrative inputs, not any facility’s rates.
