HIGHROAD / PRACTICAL SHIPPING TOOLS · Prepared October 13, 2026
Two-Car Move Cost and Handoff Planner
Plan each car separately, then compare driving both, shipping both or splitting the move. The tool does not assume one truck, a paired arrival or a discount. Enter complete per-car costs without counting shared household travel twice.
Free planning worksheet. No contact information is required for a result. Entries stay in this page while it is open; the tool does not send or automatically save them. Download your result before leaving or reloading.
How this tool works
Drive both = two driving costs + entered shared-drive expense. Ship both = two shipping costs + shared-shipping expense. Each split = one driving cost + the other’s shipping cost + shared-split expense. Missing costs prevent a complete comparison. Driver and suitability answers flag scenarios needing review.
An example using hypothetical inputs
Hypothetical: car A costs $300 to drive or $800 to ship; B costs $400 to drive or $900 to ship; shared costs are zero. Totals are $700 drive both, $1,700 ship both and $1,200 for either split. One available driver means driving both needs a different driver plan.
What to confirm before relying on the result
Feasibility flags are questions, not safety approval. Costs, owner travel, per-car readiness and handoffs still require current review.
Use current information from the actual seller, property, manufacturer and accepting provider. This worksheet does not independently verify your answers. A result is not a booking, provider approval or a guaranteed price, date or coverage outcome.

Discuss your actual shipment
Review or download the result, then use the inquiry form if you want a callback. The tool does not automatically attach your worksheet or send it to Highroad. Share only the details needed through an agreed channel.
Request a shipping callback ↗Highroad’s form requests contact. It does not take payment, book a carrier or confirm a pickup date. Current planning coverage is the contiguous 48 states and Hawaii; Alaska is excluded.
