HIGHROAD / VEHICLE TYPE
ATV/UTV transport services
ATV and UTV transport should be matched to the actual unit’s width, height, condition, and accessories. Share each unit’s model and dimensions, especially for modified or multi-unit requests.

What matters for off-road vehicle transport?
A compact ATV and a wide side-by-side are different loads. Roll cages, roofs, windshields, tracks, lifted suspension, and wide tires can change dimensions and securing considerations. Give the configuration that will actually be shipped.
Discuss suitable loading, securement, and open or covered handling rather than assuming a particular trailer. A unit that runs on a trail may still have a loading issue if brakes or steering are damaged. Multiple-unit requests need each vehicle listed separately.
What details help us assess your request?
Provide model, length/width/height, approximate weight if known, powertrain, condition, route, and dates. Describe aftermarket equipment and whether the unit rolls, steers, and brakes.
- State whether the pickup is a dealer, home, storage site, or auction.
- Identify loose gear and accessories that may need removal.
- Explain loading ramps or equipment at the location, without assuming they are suitable.
What affects the ATV or UTV quote?
Footprint, number of units, handling equipment, route capacity, protection preference, access, and dates shape the request. Confirm what accessories and loading work the price includes and how condition is recorded.
For a recreational trip or event, share the ready and receiving dates. A transport estimate is not a guaranteed event-arrival time. Hawaii or overseas destinations require a separate ocean acceptance and preparation review.
How should recreational equipment be prepared?
Document condition, secure or remove loose accessories under the provider’s instructions, and clean enough of the unit for inspection. Follow the assigned fuel or battery checklist, provide keys, and disclose damage or leaks. Do not load additional recreation gear on the assumption that it is accepted or covered.
A practical planning example
For a side-by-side purchased near Phoenix and delivered to a home in Orlando, include roof and tire dimensions and confirm dealer release. A stock-model quote may not reflect a modified cage or wider stance.
This is a planning example, not a scheduled route or a completed Highroad shipment.
Can you transport a side-by-side with a roof, cage, or accessories?
Request an assessment using its current configuration. Give the ATV or UTV make/model, overall dimensions, approximate weight if known, and mounted accessories. A four-seat side-by-side with a roof and spare tire can differ from a stock two-seat unit.
Include a roll cage, windshield, light bar, racks, plow, and aftermarket tires. Explain which parts can be removed and who will remove them. Do not assume factory measurements apply or that loose accessories travel with the vehicle without agreement.
Does my ATV or UTV need to run?
It does not necessarily need to run for every possible arrangement, but its loading condition must be reviewed. State whether it rolls, steers, brakes, has keys, and has a working transmission or parking brake. A unit with locked wheels is different from one that simply will not start.
Describe the surface and access where it is stored. A recreation vehicle inside a shed at a rural property may need to reach a level loading area first. Do not assume a highway transporter will recover it from a trail or remote site.
Will it travel open, enclosed, or on a specialized trailer?
Confirm the method for the exact unit and route. ATV/UTV shipping is a vehicle category, not a trailer specification. Ask about loading, stabilization, securement, weather exposure, and any required preparation.
If you want added shelter for a custom side-by-side, request it explicitly. Size and accessories may limit the available equipment. Do not attach your own loose cover unless the assigned provider accepts it and explains how it should be prepared.
Can you collect from a dealer, private seller, or auction?
Confirm payment and release, the precise pickup location, keys, business hours, and a responsible contact. For an online purchase, ask the seller to report the current configuration and condition. Listing photos may not show the accessories or damage that affect loading.
For an ATV purchased near Phoenix and headed to a property outside Orlando, describe both dealer access and rural receiving access. This is a planning example. If an auction sets a collection deadline, provide it separately from your preferred transport date.
How should I prepare the vehicle and loose gear?
Follow the provider’s fuel, battery, alarm, and key instructions. Remove mud or debris as directed so condition can be inspected. Identify loose cargo, tools, helmets, and spare parts; ask whether they can be included and how they must be prepared.
Photograph the bodywork, wheels, cage, fitted equipment, and existing marks. Tell us about leaks, crash damage, or battery issues before transport is arranged. Do not assume specialized vehicle shipping includes repairs, cleaning, or packaging.
Can I ship several units together or plan around a trip?
List every unit with its dimensions and condition and give the trip deadline. A multi-unit request needs a combined equipment and quote assessment; it is not automatically priced as one ordinary car. Specify whether units share the same pickup and delivery contacts.
Request separate pickup and transit estimates and allow a fallback if the vehicle is needed for a booked outing. Use the quote notes for the full list and access details, and review oversized requirements if modifications substantially change the size.
